A pressure washer is a quick way to clean a roof. However, it can also damage your tiles.
Tiles do not get cracked or dislodged - High pressure can crack a tile and knock it out of place. Scraping cannot.
No water forced under the tiles - Blasting drives water beneath the laps, into the felt and battens underneath.
The moss comes out of the valleys too - Working across the roof by hand gets into the valleys and ridges where moss holds. A blast just skims the surface.

That is the fear a pressure washer creates. It is a fair one, so we do not use one. The moss is scraped off by hand, tile by tile, so nothing is blasted and no water is forced under the laps.
No. The moss and debris are scraped off by hand. The softwash that follows is a low pressure treatment, which is a different thing entirely from jetting a roof.
It depends on the size of the roof, the pitch and how much moss is on it, so there is no single number worth quoting. You get a written price with the work spelled out, free and with no obligation.
We tell you straight and there is nothing to pay. We would rather say so than take the job.
Moss grows back on any roof eventually. The professional biocide we apply at the end of the clean is there to slow that down, which is why it is part of every job rather than an extra.
It gets cleared away before we leave. Tidy set-up, tidy finish, every time.
